Facebook Pixel: What It Is and Why You Need It

Stop Wasting Money

What is a Facebook pixel?

A Facebook pixel is code that you place on your website. It helps you track conversions from Facebook ads and remarket to qualified leads—people who have already visited your website.

It works by placing and triggering cookies to track users as they interact with your website and your Facebook ads.

Why you need the Facebook pixel?

The Facebook pixel will help you maximize your online advertising budget.  Once the pixel is properly installed on your website, all you need to do is drive prospects to your website.  They don’t need to fill out any forms or take any action for what happens next!  Once the prospect lands on your website, the pixel is able to detect that they visited your website and will begin to serve your ads (remarket) to that prospect as they scroll through Facebook (regardless of the device they are on – phone, tablet, laptop, etc.

Keep in mind, most people don’t make a buying decision until they have seen your message between 5-12 times.  This remarketing is key to making those impressions and increasing your chance of closing the sale.
